Around the widest part of your stomach — usually at or just below the belly button. Stand relaxed and breathe normal. Don't suck it in. The jacket has to button over this number, not your chest.
Skip it and the jacket gets built off your chest alone. That's the #1 reason jackets come back too small — and it's not covered.

Chest
Around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms, across the shoulder blades.

Waist
Where your pants actually sit — not the belly. That's a different number.

Hips / seat
Around the fullest part of the seat, feet together.

Shoulders
Across the back, from the edge of one shoulder bone to the other.

Sleeve
From the shoulder edge, down a relaxed arm, to where the wrist bone sits.

Jacket length
From the base of the collar at the back of the neck straight down to where you want it to end.

Around the base of the neck, one finger of room.

Around the fullest part of one thigh, right below the crotch.

From the crotch seam down the inside of the leg to where you want the pants to break.

Measurement accuracy is on you. Custom formalwear is final sale. Fit issues from a missing or inaccurate belly measurement are not covered. Try it on within 72 hours of delivery — after that, remakes and adjustments are paid. Measurements are due no later than 30 days before your event.
